Craigslist Furniture →
If you’re like me and love digging through crap to find that perfect piece of furniture, then the Craigslist furniture classifieds (for your area) is a great resource. These retro end tables ($25 for the pair) could be great in the right setting.

BarackObama.com's Background Image →
Hidden gem found over at barrackobama.com. It’s the site’s background image, displaying an Obama logo / coat of arms graphic – only visable when you view the site’s background image, otherwise it’s hidden by the body of the site. Hope that all makes sense. I’ll have to make note of this little design detail for a future project.

Happy Friday. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend I recommend Jenga. It’s a game of physical and mental skill. You take a block from the bottom and you put it on top.

Digital SLR photography has been on my mind as of late. Canon vs. Nikon, lenses, light filters, how to achieve certain shots; I want to know it all and Mike Davidson’s Rookie Guide to Digital SLR Cameras was a great place to start.

Buying on Amazon →
I’ve never made an online purchase through Amazon before, until two seconds ago. I couldn’t be happier with their online shopping experience and I will be definitly be doing it again in the futures (the ‘s’ on the end of future is intentional).

I'm a Better Speller Than You
I just spell checked my last post and it came up with no mistakes. In recent spelling adventures I’ve noticed that my spelling has drastically improved since my high school days. I’m pretty much ready for my local spelling bee. Can I have the language of origin please? Latin? I knew it.

Master of my Domains
I’ve gone ahead and registered the domains jeremywatt.ca and jeremywatt.org. For the time being they just point back to jeremywatt.com. Maybe in the future, me dot org will be a little web playground for design experimentation, but I’m not sure yet. Secretly, I registered these while daydreaming about becoming an internet celebrity. Thinking that when that day arrived I wouldn’t...

Old Gray Office File Cabinets →
I’ve been keen on old gray office file cabinets as of late. I salvaged one a few months ago and put it to good use in my home office. Then I saw this great use of the classic gray office file cabinets which takes them to a whole new level. If someday I end up a lonely depressed single, in a overpriced bachelor apartment, I might have to mimic this setup.

Rakim, the microphone soloist said it best, it’s been a long time. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to apologize to the internet for my lack of posting, which in the past I’ve associated with a general lost of interest in my site. However, this time around I was just straight up busy. A good busy though. A blessed, excited and love the internet, kind of busy. I’ll...

An impromptu lip dub on a my first Porter Air (highly recommended, BTW) flight from Toronto to Montreal. The song seemed overly appropriate – Plane by Jason Mraz. I was a little shaky on the lyrics and at one point the flight attendant asked me to take my headphones off because we were beginning our decent into Montreal.
