Kanye's Show in Toronto →
It’s official the venue for Kanye’s Glow in the Dark Tour spot in Toronto is the Molson Amphitheatre. Not too sure how I feel about this. It could be lame, I was kind of hoping for the big venue, rock show.

A Little Conundrum About Gum - A Conungum
Every time someones asks me the do you want some gum? question, the first thought that pops into my head is oh gosh, do I have bad breath?. Then I quickly remind myself that that’s impossible, because my breath always smells like rainbows and cinnamon buns. I also hesitate whenever I offer gum, because I think they’re going to think, that I think they have bad breath and I can’t...

Converse has launched its new One Star collection, available at Target. It’s a budget conscience alternative to their John Varvatos collection. I’ll have to check it out next time I’m in the U.S. and see if it’s up to my high fashion standards.

The Next Step
Most of the items I post to this site fall under the category, ‘things I like or find interesting’. The quote above and below falls under that same category but worthy of an explanation. I think the next step for graphic designers is to figure out how to meaningfully generate their own content…whether it’s writing or whether it’s music or film or whatever, I think...

The World's Greatest Music Collection →
“Disappointed by radio stations that only played the latest hits, while ignoring anything older than songs of the previous week, Paul believed someone had to preserve the music…the history. Since he already had a good head start, he figured he was the one to do it. And do it, he did. Over the years, he’s bought every recording he could get his hands on, growing his collection to...

HD DVD is Dead →
“Toshiba said Tuesday it will no longer develop, make or market HD DVD players and recorders, handing a victory to rival Blu-ray disc technology in the format battle for next-generation video.” - CNN. Okay it’s official, HD DVD is dead. The combination of this article and my busted X-Box makes PS3 quite attractive.

Some Advice for Those Seeking Love
Find someone you’re 100% compatible with. And not just the we both like scrabble type of compatibility. I’m talking about starting to watch a movie at midnight, on a weeknight, while eating ice cream kind of compatibility. Happy Valentine’s Day.

Vixy.net →
Reason #43607 why I love the internets. I went digging for a way to export the audio out of a YouTube video and I found Vixy.net. You just imput the url of the YouTube video, select the MP3 (audio only) option in the drop down and hit start.

It’s 4:00am and I just watched the iTunes music store switch over to it’s Tuesday new releases. One of them being Michael Jackson’s Thriller 25th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition. 30 tracks of Michael Jackson goodness is currently being downloaded onto my computer. What a great way to start off the morning.

Another Great Email from Julie's Boss
Haters, haters. Am I the only one who thinks Kanye got a raw deal last night?  First of all, best performance of the night, and, secondly, (punctuation was never my strength so I just pepper them throughout my sentences) most touching performance of the night. I don’t mind telling you that I got a little blinkie.   The music starts 10 secs into his speech and they don’t have enough...

Bring Back Comments Hate Mail
The following is a recent email I received regarding comments on my site. The emailer quotes my recent post on the Gap peacoat and refers to it as his favourite. What a weirdo. It also should be noted that the emailer is actually Julie’s boss – and he really isn’t weird, he’s actually quite humourous. Bring them back and I’ll feed you a steady stream of inspiration.  ...

Road Hockey in Kingston This Weekend? →
Is anyone up for some road hockey in Kingston this weekend? I’m trying to harness the powers of the internet to organize a road hockey game in Kingston from my desk, here in Toronto. If there is enough interest I will travel to Kingston this weekend (possible Saturday or Sunday). I have four available seats in my car for those of you in Toronto who need a ride (Ian and John). Email me,...

This Site as a List
The personal website of Jeremy Watt. A blog, which I keep regular (with lots of internet fiber). A hypertext wonderland that’s always evolving. An ongoing collection of a few of my favourite things (I’m a big Sound of Music fan). A blank canvas. A place to share. Sharing is caring. I like to share. A constantly updated resume. A place for people to internet stalk me, if...

Gap Cotton Peacoat →
Until recently, when I was killing time at a mall, I hadn’t step foot in Gap for a long time. I pretty much wrote them off about three years ago but it seems as though things are starting to improve. I picked up this cotton peacoat for spring. It’s not perfect by any means and I plan to modify it with some custom buttons, but it’s a sign Gap may be making a slight comeback....

Where Have all the Mind Stimulating Posts Gone?
I must admit, without comments enabled on my blog it’s hard to motivate myself to write substantial, mind stimulating posts. It’s become obvious that what inspired me to write in the past was 50% love for writing, 50% feedback from my community of visitors. I’m going to start putting a little more effort into some writing, even if it’s just random one paragraph thoughts.
