This time last year I was packing for a trip to Sri Lanka, not really knowing what to expect.
The Sri Lanka Trip Project
Long overdue, but finally got around to posting my photographs from my Sri Lanka trip. View the embedded show above or the recommended big show. I also posted a sampling at jeremywatt.com.
I’ve created a book with the photos as well, which should be in my hands by the end of April. It’s sixty-four pages of my photography and words from the writer I traveled to Sri Lanka with. I’m looking forward to seeing the final printed piece. Will share it with y’all when it arrives.

Tamil Tiger rebels told the U.N. and international community on Monday that they are willing to accept a ceasefire with the Sri Lankan government, as Asia’s longest-running civil war may be nearing an end. (REUTERS/Nir Elias)I’m glad that I haven’t shared my Sri Lanka photos yet. Gives me a chance to show the hope that is possibly there. More tragic Sri Lanka civil war pictures at Boston.com
This time tomorrow I’ll be on an airplane heading back to Toronto. Lots of things to share, but I’ll save that for when I get back.
A boring Sri Lanka trip video update from me to you. Peep the Flickr photo stream in the sidebar. I’ll be updating it with camera phone pics. 3:00am here right now, 5:30pm in Toronto.
