Baby You’re a Firework: Jessica Claire, Design Editor of Style at Home blogs about my Fireworks collection. Have a #trill long weekend Canada.
My first pieces up on the walls at Atti Gallery in Toronto.
Significant Life Moment Alert: 5 months ago I started shopping around my Fireworks collection to some galleries in Toronto. I found out last week that Atti Gallery is taking me on as an artist and including me in their upcoming Group Photography Show. The show runs from March 1st - March 30th and features a handful of photographers, including Paul Octavious and Gregor Hochmute from Instagram!
Big shout out to friends, family and the Tumblr community for supporting me over the years. This milestone was bucket list material for me and to cross it off makes for a trill moment. If you’re in Toronto make sure you come check it out. My pieces should be up on the walls the second week of March. Swag.
If you have a sec vote up and rate my Fireworks photography over at Pikto Gallery. Or not, whatev.
Fireworks
On the weekend I launched my first, of what I hope to be many photography collections, Fireworks. All the original images were shot in Kennebunk, Maine on the night of July 4th. The theme of fireworks was inspired by Drake’s single Fireworks. My creative plan going forward is to use music as the inspiration for each collection I develop.
Follow @jeremywatt on Twitter →I’ve been working on my first true photography collection, Fireworks. The digital gallery will launch October 1st at JeremyWatt.com/fireworks. From there I’m going to shop it around to local galleries. Failing that, I plan on creating my own pop-up gallery somewhere in Toronto.
All I see is Fireworks.
