Everyone has their 9/11 story, even if it’s simply the account of where you were and what you were doing when the tragic events unfolded. A month after September 11th, I was asked to design this pin for The Salvation Army 9/11 volunteers — one of whom, was my mother. I was still in design school at the time, so it’s not my best piece, but it may be my most meaningful.
With pride and honor, my mom wore her pin today and I hope the other volunteers did the same. That’s my story.
I’m in New York for a Week What Should I Do?
No schedules, no appointments just exploring. Have any ideas what I should do, see or eat? Let me know in the comments.
I can cross Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill off the list. Enjoyed that last night for dinner.
