$1600 in 16 Days - Donate to The Salvation Army this Christmas

I work for The Salvation Army. They do good work. For every dollar they raise 89 cents goes to those who might otherwise remain invisible in society. There’s 16 Days till Christmas and I want to raise $1600.

On average I get about 200 visitors a day to this little website. If each of you donated $8, we’d hit the $1600 dollar mark.

So in review…

200 Visitors over the next 16 Days + 8 Dollars = $1600 towards Seeing What Most Don’t

Sri Lanka Photography Trip

On Tuesday I’ll be heading out to Abu Dhabi on route to Colombo, Sri Lanka for a two week trek. The Salvation Army has asked me to document their Tsunami relief work with my photography. I’m hoping to capture 1000-1500 photos that I’ll use to create some sort of book. My goal is to have it up for sale on Amazon, proceeds going back to The Salvation Army.

I shot two photos for The Salvation Army’s 2008 Annual Review. This is the first – shot in the heart of Regent Park. Markus, the kid in the photo was easily the coolest person I’ve ever worked with.
